I have to admit, usually, I dont really study for exams. But this time round, I did. Hope it was worth it.

First Day of PSLE [ENGLISH]
- I came to school with just a pencil box and a jacket. Later, after Mrs Nam, Mr Koo talk talk on microphone then I realised that I should have brought a book to revise.
In the exam hall, the air-con was already turned on and we made our way to our seats. Compo and Sit writing was first. The sit writing ended up to be a picture with a girl losing her wallet in a library and a librarian found it and returned it. It was okay, just that I was not sure about the salutaions. Compo had a bad picture so I wrote the Continuous writing. The topic was about someone waiting for his/her mother outside a shop in a shopping mall when he/she heard a strange sound.
I dont really remember the English paper much but I think it was okay.

Second day of PSLE [MATHS]
- This time, I came to school with a bag which had a pencil box and a revision book inside. [Well, my revision book was to big for my bag so I borrowed Bunny's bag]. In my opinion, Maths was hard. But easier than prelims so I guess some of us were prepared. I read somewhere in the internet that most P6 students found the Maths really hard.

Third Day of PSLE [MT]
- The malay paper was really hard. Much harder than prelims paper. I might score in the MCQ but the open ended passages, I barely knew what most of the words meant.

Last day of PSLE [SCIENCE]
- This was the most exciting day of PSLE. The paper was quite hard but I managed to fill in everything. The last two minutes of the exam, I was just staring up the clock, waiting for time to pass by. I couldnt wait for it to be all over. Then finally, it was.

--After PSLE
Whatever happened in that 4 days, I didnt really care any more. I spent my Tuesday with my laptop <3 Finally can play some games and relax abit. :D

Earth Day!

Earth Day is the day where the minimum amount of electiricty used. I think Earth Day is very important as we are trying to stop global warming, a very dangerous threat. Global warming can lead to the end of mankind! Saving the Earth means, doing the BEST we can to prevent it from being destroyed! We should save the earth by not littering, not using electric applicances when not in use and by recycling!

As we all know, Singapore is a small country. So, where are we going to keep all the waste that we throw? I think we should reuse,reduce,recycle! By doing so, we are saving more trees our environment would be better.

I think everyone should spend more than 2 hours of no electricity as I think 1 hour is too short. The more we help, the better. My family and I would switch off all our lights for 2 hours on that day.

The Earth is our HOME. SAVE IT!

Everyone should be kind. To anyone, anytime, anywhere! Kindness is an admirable quality. It includes being polite, considerate and tolerant of others. Being kind is the most important thing in our life! If you are kind to everyone,good things will happen to you. Being kind also means peace! No war.

We can practise being kind by doing simple things like helping other people in times of need. Whenever we do something out of kindness and the other person say thanks or smile, you will feel happy that you have done something good. And that happiness is addictive.

I think Singaporeans are doing a good job in being kind. But it can be improved! A lot more can be achieved. All we have to do is to remind ourselves and each other every day to be KIND!

A Wonderful Trip to the Museum.

Who says Museums are boring?? They are definitely wrong. I have gone to the Museum twice. ( One with family, other with class ) The first time I went there, I only went into the gallery and nothing more. When we got there with the class, I just only saw the moving lights. It was incredible.

Remember the events path and personal path? The last time i went to the personal path so this time I went into the events path. It was quite like a maze.

The thing that I most interest me was the Food Gallery. There we could smell all kinds of spices. My favourite was to smell the wolfberries.

I think Museums are interesting, useful and important as tourist can visit and learn about our past in an interesting way. Our past is what lead us to our future which we see around us.

I learnt alot of things during the visit. Did you know, in the past, the government rewarded people for killing wild tigers?

Earth Hour

Earth hour was held on 28th March 2009. From 8.30pm to 9.30 pm it is recommended to everyone to off their lights and other electrical applicances that is 'useless'. I think they are organizing this event to decrease the chances of global warming.

During Earth hour, everyone in my family would off everything, bring our laptops and go to our grandparent's house. There we would off all the lights but still play with our laptops. We also did other stuffs like watching TV, playing handheld games and tell stories.

I think the melting of iceberg is a big threat to Earth as it can flood countries and claim peoples' lifes. This is caused by the heat around us. This cause might continue as the heat makes people use their air-cons instead of their fans which results to more heat in our Earth =( . To stop this cause, try to minimize the use of air-con and electric fan. Only switch them on when necessary.

The pressure is now off but it will come again soon.

I think my scores COULD be improved. But I feel happy that it wasnt so low. I was quite worried about my Mother tounge and my english. I think I did quite well for my maths. I knew maths would have tough questions so I studied real hard. I think my mother tounge paper still needs improvement but the paper was hard anyway.

After the holidays, I should start studying MORE and LESS play time. I should revise from this CA1 paper and learn from my mistakes.

I think I will read the newspapers more often to improve on my English and my mothertounge. I will also try all the problem sums in my maths assesment books too.

Singapore Education System

1)Streaming does look like we are seperating the students who are more clever than those who are not. So what happens if there is no streamimg? Firstly, the teacher will have to teach at a 'medium' pace for the weaker students to catch up but then the more clever students might get bored. And when there are tests, the cleverer students will do better and the weaker students will always feel like failures. But if there is streamimg and students are seperated according to academic ability, then the teacher in each class will teach according to how the studnts can cope. This will benefit students from both classes. If the weaker students do better in their tests and subjects and do not feel like failures, they will want to continue in school and will not drop out. Besides 'streaming' in Anderson has allowed me to be in this special IT class that I enjoy very much.!

2)The strength of our education system is the way the schools have high expectations for the studenst whether they are smart or weak in studies. And there are also a lot of special programmes that take us out of school and make us learn new things in a more interesting way. Every school also gives a chance for some students to be prefects and leaders.

3)The weakness is that after classes are streamed, there is not much planned interaction between both streams. We are seperated academically and then everything else too!

4) We are doing well in international competitions because everyday is a mini-competition in school. I think Singaporeans are generally competitive and do not like to lose or fail. Also, I guess we send the very best to competitions to win!

5)I kind of dislike Mother tongue. I think it is a subject that should be more Like social studies or health education where we apprecite it but do not have to be tested on it.

6)They can assess our learning through projects, put us through scenarios to complete just like role playing games.

7)I think the foregn students who enroll here are more from Asian countries than those from England, United States or Europe. This is because Singapore's system is still regarded as of a higher standard than their own countries and comparable to western countries. Also, Asian stidents who enroll here probably feel that they will fit in better and not get discriminated or bullied than if they go to western countries.

After school on weekdays,
While my parents are working, me and my sister usually revise our work, play computer, read books or hang out with friends. If my parents come back early and in a good mood, we would go to our grandmother's house to visit. Twice a week at 6pm, my whole family would go to the track to jog. Sometimes we would bring our family friends too.

On Saturdays,
My family will definitely go out to shop or go to a buffet. We like to try different places so we know which is the best. My favourite buffet place is Carousel as they have a wide variety of food that are my favourites. We usually go with our grandparents, cousins and aunts.

I spend my Sundays staying at home to do homework or play the computer.

That is what I normally do after school. :)

There's Always Something to Defend...

I will defend the environment by saving as much water and electricity as possible. I will not litter and try to adopt a environmental friendly lifestyle so that Singapore will continue to be livable for future generations.

I will defend my family and friends by helping them when in need. They are worth helping as I'm positive that they would help me too. I will always be there when they need me.

New Year Resolutions 2009

A brand new year, a brand new chance to fulfill our dreams. Changes were made, descisions were comfirmed. Its time we look back and see what we have done.. and try to improve it to the very best. =D

My resolutions :

1. Be better!
I tend to be better in everyhthing I do which includes my work, my games =), get another gold for nafa =.- and be better to everyone I meet! =)

2. Learn something new!
Maybe learn a new sport, go for web designing courses... and more!

3. Volunteer more in school!
This is our last year in Anderson, its better to help as much as we can so when we move on we can always think back on what the good things we have done to help the school. =)

4. Have a good time =)
Have fun and spend more time with friends and family =)

Accomplished or Missed?

The year is about to end. As we look back, we remember many of our fun times. I remember our SYF performance. We practised for 4 months and got a Silver. Although we wanted a Gold, we have gotten Silver.

I have also done other stuff at home like creating new games like Habbo Retros(internet game). During the school holidays, I will be taking part in a course to learn how to make websites! I hope it could improve my Habbo Retros and make my own website too.

My favourite competition is the NE Videography Competition. It was very exciting! We had to do alot of stuff like planning on what to do, selecting our actors and finally editing the video. My favourite part of the competition was when me and my team( Me, Andrea, Tino, Benjamin and Michael ) and some of our teachers went to Bukit Chandu to act and take vedios. We had lots of fun! But I was very sad that we couldnt win the big prize. I think it was the lack of team work.

I also liked the potography competition as we could go to Nee Soon South Areas and also get some treats from our teachers!

I also liked the Family Nite and Swimming Day. During this days, we would set up a booth to take people's photos and print out for them! It was a tough job though.

And not to forget, I also loved the MOE Excel Fest in Suntec City! It was very very fun as we could show the public our IT equipments and also go down to Haagen Daz to buy ice-cream!

Heres a miss, during Sports Day, I took part in running. I didnt win any medals but I dont mind as I was competeing with Sports Class Pupils! I was sure I couldnt overtake them. But now, I have improved my stamina and hope to do better next time.

I miss my trip to India(2007) as we could have some freedom to learn alot about IT in various companies. I also liked the time when we went to schools to learn their culture and their activities. If i had a chance to go again, I will.

One of my recent accomplishes was when Mr.Tan submitted in my composition. For that, my story went into the Golden Harvest. I was surprised as it was the first time my story ended there. The story was based on a student learning about excellence to try to win the Excellent Student Award.

My goals for the future is to learn how to Cycle, improve my web designing skills and Pass most of my exams. Im sure, with alot of practise, I would accomplish this goal with pride and honour. I hope everyone else can accomplish their dreams and goals.

Exams are around the corner! I hope to everyone in class that evryone will do very well. My goal is to get at least 87 and above for maths, english and science. I hope to get 20 for my oral. For my mother tongue.. I would probably get low marks but im hoping for a high score -trust my secret weapon-.

What am I doing?
At home I will revise using assestment books and play only for an hour, or sometimes I will never play at all. My secret weapon?-secret- I hope this secret weapon will bring me good scores.. you never know. I hope to improve from SA1. =D good luck to all!

A trip to Sungei Buloh

Hehe. It was an okay excursion trip to Sungei Buloh. Some of us had bad times and some were really lucky! We gain quite an experience during the trip. We could see lots of animals like Malayan Monitor Lizard, Tree climbing crabs, Archerfishes, Birds and many more. The best part of the trip was siting down at the cafe to rest, drink and finish our papers.

I love Computer Games!

I love to play computer games as it keeps me entertained and dont get bored easily.

I have alot of favourite games, and once in awhile I find a new game or website to hook on to. But my prefered choice are Audition, Tales of Pirates and Habbo. I like to play audition because we can communicate with our classmates and also challenge them in virtual dancing. In Tales of Pirates, we can defeat monsters, 'pk' our friends and leveling up. Habbo is more to a chatting website where we can create and design our character, win prizes by playing games and communicate with out friends. I think alot of students play computer games because they tend to get bored easily. Usually I will play for 3 hours during weekends and 2 hours during weekdays. That makes 16 hours a week!

Playing computer games so much isnt good for us either. It can effect our studies as students tend to think about it during school hours and by that, not listening to what our teachers say.

I read in the newspapers that alot of students are getting addicted to computer games. My advice is to go out more often and let your mind wonder off to something different or take up a hobby.

Family Nite

I was really excited when I reached school to help out on the photo booth for Family Nite. All of us had roles such as Marshalls(me),Camerapeople and more. Here is how the costumers goes about to get their photos taken.

1) Go to Music Room -> Listen on our experience on this year's India trip.
2) They have an option to either go to the Fitness corner -> measure their height and body mass or go to the CyberCafe -> play a 10min flash game.
3) Go to the photobooth -> Click!

At first I though there would be little people cause most people dont like moving about just to have a photo taken. But I was wrong! It was crowded!

There was once we lost a box, which contains the coupons we earn. The teachers tried looking everywhere. I didnt really had much news of it.. I only knew it was lost, then found.

Olympics

The Greeks held the first Olympic Games in the year 776 BC. In that time, there was only ONE event, the sprint. The winner would be crowned with a wreath of olive branches. And in time, more events were put in.

The flag of the Olympic Games has five interlocking rings (blue, yellow, black, green, and red) on a white ground. The rings represent the five parts of the world that were joined together in the Olympic movement: Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australia and Europe.

I think this is an important event for the world as it gives a chance to nations to put up to their reputation and it gives people a chance to rise in fame.

My favourite events to watch is swimming, table-tennis and today I have just watched the Brazils and Americans play volleyball. I watch this events because I want to know how the real sportsmen play. I admire their team spirit and confidence in their game. I think that is how they win.

I am impressed with our singapore tennis-table player, JiaWei. I think she has improved from the last Olympic as we got a silver and almost won a gold medal player from China. I also admire how the teams from Europe play Volleyball as they are tall can could jump high with great power.

If I had a chance to participate in the Olympics, I would participate in Archery because it only takes strength, focus and concentration.

I think its worth organising the Olympics as it doesnt only gives fame to nations but it also gives money.

It is a rough road that leads to the heights of greatness.

Our resource to our energy? Sleeping!

Well mostly I sleep about 7 to 9 hours. It really depends on my mood. I think im having the average level of sleeping. Not too much and not too little. Usually my mom will say ' LYDIA!! What time is it already? Do you want to be late for school?? Stop what you're doing and go to sleep! But i wont get that unless she is realy having a bad day.

Usually if Im not sleeping im...
1) Playing computer games and online games
2) Reading a really good book
3) Doing homework
4) CCA * Mostly netball keeps me tired after the game *

Well yeah.. thats about it. I dont think im over-doing myself though. It seems too litle. After doing homework i try to finish my book, after finising I play the computer til i get bored with it. Then there's that urge of feeling for something to do other then the stuff listed above. And one of them isnt sleeping.

This is some of the stuff i think parents should do.
1) Start from young ( sleep like 8pm, thats when my cousin sleep )
2) Sleep from 8 wake ap at 7am. ( They wil get used to it )
3) Disipline
4) Only let him/her touch the computer 2 hour - 4 hours
5) Let the kid get more activites. ( NOT work, keep them out of stress
I think this is the secrets(which im not doing) for sleeping at the right rate!
If your feeling stress, you could take a short nap too.

Don't be the victim, cyberbully

This days, many offends are made, and one particular offend is growing rapidly.
That is cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is a serious offend wich is commited in the cyber world. Here are some of the offends.
1) Vulgar in cyber world
2) Flaming
3) Hacking
4) Cyber Sexual abuse
and many many more.
To my experience, I think this cyberbullies bully because in the real world, they are weak and themselves get bullied. And there is a slight chance that they bully for entertainment or attention.

If you can see a cyberbully, you can report the bully and ignore/block him from your contents. Remember that you can NEVER give personal information to strangers in the virtual world. Who knows? He might use your information and do something bad. If you have made a profile, friendster,myspace,facebook etc., remember to lock the profile. This means that only your friends and the people you know can see.

I have met a few cyberbullies that used vulgar and had tried to hacked my account. I prevented this by placing a very complicated password and report and ignored the cyberbully. If you encounter any, you should do the same.

So cyberbullies, if your thinking to continue being a bully, I advice you to think what is the real reason for doing this. If you dont want to be cyber bullied, you yourself must not do it. And the rest , stand up for yourself and prevent this offend.

Cyberbullies can be stoped, you just have to make a move.

It was a sunny saturday, I was really happy it was bright and sunny when i woke up. Today I was going to school to go to the NDP Rehearsel. I got ready about 12.30 and set off my journey to school at 1.30 . I was eager to meet my friends on a sunny weekend.

As I reached the school, I met many of friends and we had to assemble in the hall. We had to sit there for a very long time. While we were sitting in the hall, me and Hannah traded Archie books and we read them till we had to board the bus.

In the bus, me and hannah was sitting together. We had nice goodie bags! Mine had a mixture of colours. Inside the goodie bag was a ton of items, there was a magazine, 'toys',Macdonald's and many more! But the quality of the bag wasnt so good.. the string of mine kept coming off!

When we reached our stop, we got out of the bus and was welcomed by a glaring sun. It was so hot! Unfortunately for us, our class and 5.8 class must walk ALL the way to the sitting area. Some classes were lucky as they could walk half the distance we were walking as they could stop at a nearer bus stop.

When we were sitted, I opened my bag and pulled out my 'new cap' and wore it. It looked cool on me. We were soon welcomed by a load bang and flying colours of smoke( like confetti ) then alot of singing from different artists. When it was the Black Knights turn to perform, I was awake. They made alot of moves and made lots of shapes, like the heart shape. This is the first time the Black Knights did more then one move. After many performances, it was time for the best part, the FIREWORKS! I took a good video of it and made it a screen save on my handphone.

My fave parts were definitely the Black Knights and the Fireworks. It was the best NE show ever

MOE ExCEL Fest

Friday the 4th.

Today was a lucky day~ Me and vikaesh can skip school coz we gotta go to the MOE ExCEL Fest. Here are the people who came!

Teachers : Ms Suzanah*Mdm Milk* , Mr Alan Tan, Mrs Nam, Mr Anuar, and at the end, Mr Justin came to visit.

ICT Dept : Lokendra, SriBalan ( 2008, blogging ), Me , Vikaesh ( EzCode, 2007 ), Keerthana , Yong Kang ( Helper, all over the place ) Glend ( Helper, Advert ).

Art Dept : Ei Ling and Denise. ( Dot painting )... I helped out too.

When we reached there, the walls were set up and all we had to do was place everything in order. After 20min or so, we finally were ready to open shop. Alot of people came and me and vik took turns explaining about the EzCode. The Art DEpt was really popular as many kids wanted to try it out.

At the next day, was almost the same but we were all tired i guess. after awhile , we all got bored with our jobs. Ms Suzanah was busy walkin around and doing the art. And actually Vikaesh called her Ms su-su which meant milk.. so from that on we all called her Ms Milk. She was really angry.

As the day was reaching it's end, the art dept actually had and idea to give out cups for them to paint and take home. Mrs Nam made one specially for Ms Suzanah. And she was so happy. Ms suzanah, bored to death went to edit her present. I joined her. So we all was actually siting in one corner dot painting and not letting others have it. Haha.

A trip to the past

Yesterday, me, Andrea, Michael, Benjamin and alot more came to school for a video competition ( not against each other ). We split into groups and started working.

Group 1 : 5.7 Group
Director : Me
Producer : Andrea
Actor : Michael, Benjamin and me
Reserve : Tino

Group 2 : 4.5 Group
Director : KangLi
Producer : Unknown
Actor/actress : All of them
Members : Kangli, Siti, Gotam and another boy

Both groups actually chose Lieutenant Adnan as their 'star'. Guess who became Lt. Adnan in our group? Me!hehe, I wore shorts and a cap so I really look like a boy. Me and Benjamin was the malay troops and Andrea and Michael became the Japanese soldiers. Michael was the commander. Our storyboard was,

Middle: All of us go 'hiking' and 'hunting'
Middle2: Benjamin got shot when hunting
2ndLast : I went to one end of the bush and michael at the other, than we 'hunt' when we reach the front, we're out of bullets and we have to fight with our 'knifes' then Andrea comes in and shoot me than I fall to the ground unconsiouce. Then they tie me up ( hands and legs ) than we're are suppose to make a speech. ( will be edited in computer )

Japanese(Michael) : Haha! You are defeated, and now you will accept your fate! Now we would take you as our prisoner of war!

Lt.Adnan(me) : No! We will never surrender! The malay regiment will fight to sustain their duty to their country. You may take our lives, our land, but you can NEVER take our spirit away from us.

Its a little bit hard to say my line cause im suppose to be weak and my voice also must like going to die alrady.

My favourite part was when we had to do the Army training. Me and benjamin was the only one who could climb up the rope cause the other 'malay troops' was P4...and dont know how to do it. The Japanese too got P4 and got 2 girls. So the other malay regiment will stand beside the rope thingy and when Ms El say 'Action!' we start climbing. I must say, Benjamin climb like a monkey. ( Coz one part we needed to climb up a steep hill, since I cant only Benjamin did it. ) Between our activities, we stopped by the vending machine to buy drinks.. Maybe like 3 - 4 rounds.

After finish shooting, we waited in the small sitting room where there is 3 vending machines(enough for all of us). We waited for a LONG LONG LONG time for the bus driver.. until all of us so tired. And we kept talking nonsense. But it was a relief we could finally go back. But my knee hurts(got scrapped abit)

Exam Results

=( awww.... I didnt know i did so bad! I had a real shock when i recieved all of my results.. the worst was my Mother tongue of course. Never mind, I hope i do better in my CA2 and SA2. Good luck for the rest of my friends.

Food Food Food!

Food in our canteen.. Ill give it a 2-star.
Everyday during recess time, I will always eat something in the canteen. It depends on what they sell on that particular day.

My favourite stalls are stall number 1,3,7 and 8. I think the food is very healthy and clean as I never came across signs of unhealthiness. I too believe that the food and driks are clean. Almost all of the canteen food is healthy like mee hong kong, the laksa and many many more.

I think the canteen should sell more fruits and fruit juice. I think to make others feel at home in the canteen is to put in more decorations or have a special 'teachers corner' in the canteen specially for teachers to eat, hang out or chat in.

Shiny Silver

After all the hardwork and the effort to stay back everyday paid off. Today, 10:30am or journey had begun. We took our bags and headed for the music room and arranged the chairs. We practised until 11:50am. During this hours we practised and changed to our pants. The pants were REALLY UNCOMFORTABLE. But we had no choice and had to get used to it. 11:50 we had our break for 30 minit. I realised I havent took my homework and went to class to take it together with Kelly's and Xin Xian's. After our break we had to go through the tortures moments puting on make-up. But secretly I think i looked nice. But to my opinion I also look like a old chinese woman.

1:30 we had another break. I decided to change money as I had only had big notes. There's a vending machine there so I HAD to change some notes. Coming back from the canteen, I accidentally saw Mr Alan Tan. He caught a glimpes than focused on me. I tried to hide my face as I didnt wanted to show my face full of make up. When I came back, we had to get our guitars and footstools and wait outside the office. We boarded the bus after that.

When we reached Republic Poly, I could see all of the other schools wearing their costumes. I was so glad ours were not as bad as theirs. Some of them wore skirts and the boy's pants looks funny(other school). We registered and sat somewhere. We met all the HODs(Mrs Nam, Mrs chau, Mr Alphi, Mrs Subra and Mr Leong). They wished us good luck and went somewhere. We went into a tuning room to tune our guitars and practise our two songs, El Cumbanchero and Skaters Waltz. After that, we made our way to the back stage. We heard the current school playing, it was quite nice. I was hoping we would be better than them. As we walked on stage, my heart was beating rappidly. I was so nervous as I was scared if I would make a mistake. As I looked on to the crowd I had a shock. There was lesser people then I had expected. I spotted my parents in nearby seats. After we ended the song and bowed, we made our way out. I was so relieved I was out of the pressure. I saw my parents outside praised me. Umfortunately, they couldnt wait for the results and had to go to work again.

We had a small break and went back inside the theatre. The last school, anglo-chinese was playing 2 nice songs with full of mistakes. After they finished, we waited patiently for the results. They went by the number of our schools. We waited for the number 80 and our school name was called. " Number 80, Anderson Primary School... SILVER". I was pleased but not at all satisfied. All of us had prayed for gold from the minute we knew we were going to participate. So far there were 1 gold, 5 silvers, 4 bronze and 1 certificate of participation. I was so sorry for the school who got the C.O.P. But us getting a silver from our first SYF was good enough.Hopefully, the next batch would strive to get a gold for our school.

Traffic Road Games at East Coast!

A once in a life time chance..

On the 10th of April, me and my class mates went on a learning journey we will never forget! We went to East Coast park to play the Traffic Road Games. It was really really fun!

When we reached there, we saw alot of things. Some of us had different roles. They were Pedestrians, Go-Kart(motorist)and cyclist. There were limited spaces in becoming a motorist and a cyclist. There were only 4 spaces for both of them! Unfortunately I didnt get to be the motorist=(. Instead I became the Pedestrians. I almost got a chance of being a cyclist.. if I knew how to cycle. -_-

Before the 'race' we had a short breifing on what to do and each of us had different routes to take. Mine was Route E. While racing, we must obey the traffic laws or get dimerit points. My first stop was going to Bus 3. I had trouble there, as I didnt know where to go! But slowly, I figured out the way. We had to go to checkpoints and try to finish them withouth getting any dimerit points(sorry if wrong spelling). When we reach the checkpoint, we would have to asnwer a question and if it is correct, the marshall will sign our checkpoint. Luckily Ive got no dimerit points! It was very tiring.

When I completed all my checkpoints, I went and buy lemon tea can drink and 4 packs of potato chips! I bought 3 chilli and one sweet and sour. When our break was over we went inside the room to watch a short movie about road safety! After that, we all went back to school. Now I learnt that I must always wait untill the vehicles stop at the traffic light and do the Kerb Drill. I also must not run across the road or cross between vehicles. It was a fun and tiring day. My Ambitionz

Hello I think your wondering what is my ambition. When I was 5 years old, I wanted to become many things. They are : Singer,FireFighter,Being in Tiger Woods and many more embarrasing ambitions.

But now, Ive made up my mind to become an IT engineer. I want to become and IT engineer as I think I have the talent.. I got too much ego to say I have. Anyway thats what my parents say. I've been inlove with computers and technology from 4 years old. And NOW i realise what I can be and want to be. I still can remember when I was 4 years old, my dad used to play games and I would sit on his lap and help him shoot down the enemies. LoL.

To achieve my ambition, I would pay attention in IT class and try to achieve my goals successfully. I would also study hard to be good in my studies and go to a good school than maybe become an IT engineer. I think all of this would be worth it in the end. To achieve a goal, sacrifise is needed.

TRACK & FIELD TRYOUTS

Wah.. I didnt know running was hard. I totally forgotten about my strategy to breathe normally while I run! So.. I came out last place for.. every event I took part in. On my second run, 4X400m, I crossed the finish line last, I almost volmited in the middle of the run! Luckily I had a good friend who shared water with me as I had not brought my water bottle =).

The next day, I was supposed to go to the track and field tryout again! But this time, 800m. But I didnt know! I only knew after my friend came back and told me. I was secretly relieved I didnt know.

Two days later, I went to the Tack and Field Tryout again. This time I ran 100m and 200m. In the 100m race, I was at the last position.. again. I couldnt blame myself, anyway, the rest of the runners competeing with me were fast runners, legendary from sports class like Lim Ping,Rozanisha and others. If I turned out winning, there must be a problem.

On my 200m race, I turned out second last. Which is alrady good enough for a person who doesnt train for this stuff and competeting with people who do.

Next week will be the Track & Field Meet. I hope Im not going to run in the hot sun. I usually hate this kind of events as those who are not competeing in any events will get bored and sit on the hot bench for a long time. Thats real boring. Not forgetting we might not meet our other friends in differnt houses. =( I think this year Saphire wil win again. They always do. Topaz, my house, would go in second.. like every year we do.

What a tiring day.

I used to say, Fridays was my luckiest day of the week.But this week wasnt so lucky.

It was the Sports Carnival day in ANDPS. Me and alot of other people were IT ambassoders. I was the cameragirl.

It was so tiring! The most photos taken was when the P5 and P6 came back from the swimming complex. I wonder if they had any fun.. Since doing picture by picture was so slow, we had to take 4 photos at once and make sure we dont lose the forms at the same time. We were going left, right, left, right. But in the end, we ate KFC and made $200+. It was worth it. We also took photos for ourselves for free! Hahaha.A job well done to, Mr Justin, Ms suzanah, Mr Raj, Ms Al, 4.4,4.5,5.7 and 6.7 students.

But when I came back home, I went for a foot massage.jk jk jk

Book Recommendation

Title : The Chronicles of Narnia : The Horse and His Boy
Author: C.S. Lewis

This book is about a adopted boy, Shasta, being found on the sea by a fishermen. Shasta was raised in Carlomene by him. Shasta's life there wasnt fun. He usually would get knocks on his head or get a lashing. One day, a Stranger and a horse visited them. The fisherman could tell that the stranger was from royalty and offered him to stay the night. That night, when the horse and Shasta was in the farm alone, Shasta made a wish the horse could talk. But indeed the horse COULD TALK. He was a talking horse from Narnia. And both decided to run away to Narnia.

My favourite character is Bree, the talking horse because he is a War-horse and is very wise.

My favourite part of the story is when Shasta was mistaken for Prince Corin and was brought up to the king to listen to secrets. Fortunately he escaped when the real Corin climbed into his window when all was asleep.

I am recommendating this book as it is full of adventures.

My Weekends... Phew.. glad its over

I think that you think this is so strange.. Who would want their weekends to be over?? Well THIS WEEKENDS I want them to go fast! Here are the events that happened

SATURDAY : MY BABY BRO BIG PARTY AT VOID-DECK
Early morning my grandparents came to get the big party ready. In malay its 'Jemputan' Its like malay weddings but just the table and chairs with no couples. I had to wake up early too as I had to choose what to wear and go up and down to help my family members =( At 1pm the guest started arriving. I had to welcome them and go left, right, left,right to welcome them.Sometimes I go up and down to place the presents in my room as there was no other place. 3:14 my Ex-malay teacher, Cikgu Sabariah, arrived. My sister, the photographer of the day, took our photos. It was like she was marking attendance by taking photos of them! The party continued till night time. It was A REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY(x 100) TIRING DAY!

SUNDAY : SISTER'S FRIEND PARTY ( EVENT ONE )
Sunday 4:15 we went to Deborahs Tamagotchi Party. ( she is a big fan of tamagotchis ) There we swam, played activites, ate, and had an exchange program with tamagotchies! I was so surprised to see that she had THREE tamagotchies. 2 version 5 and 1 version 4.5 . So i guess you know that it was tiring like the previous event.

SUNDAY : GETTING READY FOR SYF REHEARSAL AND MORE( LAST EVENT )
After we came back and relaxed for 20 minutes. I had to pack my guitar for the next day as we are going to Republic Poly for your SYF rehearsal. means I would only have ONE PERIOD of lessons...YAY!

Than I had to write an 'Evidence' that Ms Suzanah, my EX-Teacher , is a great teacher and that she would win the young teachers award. I hope she wins. She improved my education! She was also very very very(x 100) kind and friendly! I wished she was stil my teacher. But that doesnt matters as her class is our neighbour! And I will always get to see her after PE or during Recess! If you get to see her you will know that she is a successful and great teacher.( Why do you think she is my favourite? )

SYF competition!! AHH!!!!

Whoa! This year our guitar group * including me * is entering SYF for the first time. We are all working hard and hoping to get GOLD. The two songs we are playing are El Cumbanchero & Skaters Waltz. They are quite difficult but they are nice songs. This monday ( 18 Feb ) we are doing a rehearsal in Republic Poly ( thats where we are competeing ) we have to bring our guitar, some snacks and some money,hopefully all will go well. And we will hopefully get GOLD or SILVER and not a Thank you for participating certificate. We will DO ANDERSON PROUD! We will make sure the next guitar group wont beat our goal. Wish us GOOD LUCK!

My Baby Brother's first month party

Whoa!! My baby brother soon will be One month old this Saturday! ( 16 Feb ) I know i havent written about him in my blog so I will describe him for you... He is CUTE! My mom and dad organised a BIG PARTY under my block. My family is helping to invite people. My grandma * father side * have invited her whole block! Well she haves good neighbours. My sister have invited my X-malay teacher and some of her friends while I invited two of my malay friends and my malay teacher. We are going to have Nasi Briyani and more. I am looking forward to Saturday.

My four day holliday.... :o
On the first day of my holliday ....
I woke up at 12pm that day, took a shower and turned on my laptop. *beep* *beep* sounded my laptop. I recieved an interesting invitation email from my sister's friend, Qistina. She invited me to her birthday party on the very next day!! I rushed to call my grandma as she was a close friend to Qistina's mother. She wil be picking me and my sister tomorrow afternoon as it will start on 3:15. After all that finished happening. I placed my favourite computer game into the laptop and played for an hour than went to my favourite website and explore for an hour. Nothing really interesting has happened today. Just that email.

On the second day of my holls ...
After I did my morning routine, I relised I did not have any present for the party! I quickly took a book that was still in a good shape and wrapped it. Than I made a card. Well after that I slept for 2 hours. At 3pm we left the house to go to the party. There we played Dance and Freeze, pin the eye on fred and pass the parcel.Dance and freeze and pass the parcel. I was second in pin the eye on fred. Than we had a REALLY FROZEN cake. It took 2 strong man to cut a SLICE! It was a butterscotch cake. I really had a great time there.

The rest of my days i spent was with my laptop =)

School Time! * How did I feel on my first day of school *

On my first day of school, I was excited to meet my friends again as i have missed them during the school holidays. I was curious on who my Form-Teacher was going to be.It turned out to be the last year 6.7 form-teacher, Mr Alan Tan. He was a kind teacher and had good goals for us to improve our subjects. I am very happy He is my teacher. I also found out Mrs Shamugam was our music teacher, Mr Aidil was my malay teacher and Mr Anuar Adam was our art teacher. I heard from my friends that Mr Anuar was a funny teacher. I am looking forward to my Art. When the bell rang, i went to my other class for my Malay. Mr Aidil was a little funny and a little fierce. I think he may be able to improve my malay alot. I think I am goin enjoy 2008.
